Codegram is a software agency founded in 2009. We specialize in providing high-quality custom solutions to any business problem faced by technology companies. We have expertise and knowledge within a number of industries including finance, retail, hospitality and direct democracy (public sector). We cover from building and shipping internal tools, to enhancing business processes with technology, including mentoring and training of software engineering teams. We have a new opportunity for a Business Developer to join our team.
The purpose of the role is to promote growth through the development of new consulting business through new channels. We are looking for a passionate and confident salesperson who want to join us to provide a high quality customer service and sales experience. That means not only generating leads, but acquiring long-term customers and closing high-value deals.
Even though the focus at the beginning will be only in the consulting business, for the right candidates we will consider extending the responsibilities to other business branches after demonstrable success:
Finding and closing sponsorship deals with high-profile tech companies for our Full Stack Fest conference, a wildly successful programming event that consistently attracts visitors from all over the world every year.
Spearheading the internationalization of Empresaula, a simulated business network for vocational training students, currently used in hundreds of schools all around Spain. We're looking to bring this technology to other European countries in the mid term.
Ideal candidates will have an understanding of Agile software engineering, Cloud infrastructure and application services.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations to decision-makers.
Networking and partner development
Market research to discover new targets and opportunities
Coordinate the commercial information with our CRM
Close new deals
What we're looking for
2+ years proven sales experience in IT professional services or a related field
Familiarity with the software industry and the lifecycle of software projects
Ability to generate and close complex sales opportunities
Big-picture thinking and will to shape the growth of the company closely working with its co-founders
High attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
Excellent organizational skills
Must have the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
Experience with digital advertising
