We have a new opportunity for a Business Development Specialist to join our team. The purpose of the role is to promote growth through the development of new business through new channels, selling custom-made software projects.
We are looking for a competent person with demonstrable experience selling high-value technology projects and building long-lasting relationships with customers.
Proactively researching the market for clients that may benefit from using technological advantage to improve productivity or enable new product lines
Hone the relationships with both current and new clients, becoming the first line of contact whenever they need a solution to a problem
Closing deals on high-value projects
Work through the pipeline of prospects coming in organically through our website
Proactively research opportunities to network / get brand exposure for our consulting business
Evolution of the role and the tasks
After having proven a positive impact in our consulting business, we'd like them to extend their skills to our other two business lines:
Full Stack Fest (yearly web development conference) by honing relationships with sponsors and supporting our marketing strategy.
Empresaula (educational platform for vocational training students), supporting its' international expansion, especially in the European market.
Demonstrable experience in business development and sales in a technology sector, bonus points if software-related
Excellent communication in both written and spoken English
Must be eligible to work in Europe
An understanding of Agile software engineering, cloud Infrastructure and application services
